**Updated June 2023**
I am a school counselor, former teacher, former stay-at-home mom, and mother to two kids. I live in the ‘burbs of St. Louis, Missouri, and hopefully, this blog will help teach others wonderful recipes, how to make some things themselves, and encourage others to spread the sweets of life.
I am posting recipes that have frequently been requested by others. They have all been tested… several times in most cases! I try to include tips that are not found in the original recipes. You will not find funky ingredients in these recipes. I like to keep them simple and something you could take to a potluck for everyone to enjoy. I try to avoid mixes if possible. Sometimes I have to, but usually, I try to make it from scratch to avoid the massive amounts of hydrogenated oils in the Pillsbury log of dough, for instance.
I also like saving money… so some recipes will help save you money and hopefully ditch the mix!

Aw you are so sweet !! I’ve made some fajita recipes, but none of them I would call “awesome” enough to post. About 1 out of 5 things I make goes on here.
